Tight Race in Israel

Interim Palestinian Leader Mahmoud Abbas is in a tight race with Marwan Barghouti, who is serving 5 life terms in an Israeli jail.

Israel's current position is that he will not be set free. He is responsible for 5 Israeli deaths.

Just another twist in the bizarre Middle East drama.
