More on what I said about Iraq yesterday… We have seen a lot of very positive results in the region.
I am still hopeful.
However, we just had the bloodiest month since the beginning of the war 1 1/2 years ago, in terms of U.S. troops lost. The Bush administration has refused to use the term “exit strategy”, since that would be perceived as leaving before the job is done. Fine. Whatever. When will the job be done? The cost of war is high, I understand that. Even when US deaths are growing, and attacks on everything from civilians, to police stations to the oil infrastructure continue to rise…
