Ohio State

Ohio State was out of sync last night. It happens.

Ohio State fans? Wow! They were in their PRIME! "Oh we SUCK!" "What the F*CK is Stockman doing, he SUCKS!"

I dont need to rattle off stats to prove just how improved OSU Mens Basketball is this year, and how so far this year has been a success.

I do need a baseball bat next time some idiot trash talks about his own team, and would be pissed off if we were 16-0 and not winning by enough.

Yes, their size is killing them. But I LOVE how they play.

I firmly believe that teams should have a commitment to getting the ball down low. That doesn’t mean scoring down low, but having the ball in the hands of a player at the elbow or the block opens up passing lanes and creates angles that are difficult to defend against. Ohio State has been shooting well all season, because most of the shots they take are open shots.

They run the offense with discipline. When the offense breaks down, they don’t turn into an “and-one” team. They get the ball up top, and restart. There could be 7 seconds left on the clock, and the offense breaks down, but they get the ball quickly to the top, make a couple of passes, and they get off a decent shot. I’ve never seen them panic once this year. Even when they were playing poorly against Wisconsin, they continued to run the offense, and they continued to get the ball down low.

Thad Matta will have this team in the sweet 16 in two years.
